Press release dated 29 August 2025: TAKATA airbags, over 1,000 Volkswagen vehicles still being sought in Guadeloupe

1,050 Volkswagen vehicles are still being actively sought in Guadeloupe by GSA teams as part of the TAKATA defective airbag recall campaign.
Starting on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, GSA will deploy a mobile safety caravan to intensify the TAKATA defective airbag recall campaign. A mobile workshop, aboard the new Volkswagen Transporter T7, will travel the streets of Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre in search of vehicles that are still unsafe.
